Michael's CreditsMichael Stanton is a film composer and arranger who stands apart from his generation. His music arouses emotion in his audience that transforms an average scene into an unforgettable experience. Michael's scoring permanently etches screen images into our hearts and minds.At the age of seven, Michael was a child prodigy on the pedal steel guitar. Two years later, he was performing regularly on many television programs. At sixteen, he toured the nation with the Judy Lynn Show (a respected Las Vegas-based show orchestra). During his career, he performed regularly on the "Joey Bishop", "Mike Douglas", Johnny Carson's "Tonight Show" and numerous network television programs. In 1976, Michael became an integral part of the Bobby Goldsboro Show and for sixteen years he was seen worldwide. He became Goldsboro's musical director in 1981, arranging and conducting for the finest pop and symphony orchestras in the nation. While living in Los Angeles, he scored the CBS Emmy Award winning TV series "Evening Shade" starring Burt Reynolds. His work was highly-commended by show creator/producer Linda Bloodworth-Thomason. As a result, Harry Thomason asked Michael to supply three songs for an upcoming episode of "Designing Women". The project is narrated by David Payne, an internationally known dramatic actor and stage performer.
