This is a great tool for teaching yourself steel guitar. There are three critical functions that can greatly improve your learning. First, load up any song you're trying to learn and you can slow it down to half speed without changing the key. Slowing it down to half speed makes it much easier to learn. Second, if you have to learn the song in a different key to accomodate your singer, you can change the key without changing the tempo so you can practice any song in a variety of keys. Third, to learn just an intro, turnaround or ending, you can pick the section you want to learn and loop it endlessly.
